Beeville ISD hosts a holiday food drive

Beeville, Texas – (November 9, 2023)  Texas has one of the highest rates of child food insecurity in the nation, according to Kids Count.  Also, one in seven adults currently face  the same issue in the state.

Every campus is teaming up to impact our community in a positive way.  Beeville Independent School District is hosting a district wide food drive for National Hunger and Homeless awareness week.  You can drop off non-perishable items and and toiletries at every campus including Central Administration.

November’s Character trait for Capturing Kid Hearts is Team Work and the positive Affirmation is Better Together.  The social skills Development aspect is Students will demonstrate how their actions can impact the community in which they live.
