Beeville, TX – On January 17, 2025, Beeville Independent School District (BISD) took a major step forward with the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Beeville Elementary. This marks the beginning of a long awaited transformation for the district, following years of planning, bond proposals, and the recent approval of a $62 million bond by voters in the spring of 2024.

Creating a Foundation for Success and Innovation

The new Beeville Elementary School will replace the current Fadden-McKeown-Chambliss (FMC) and R.A. Hall Elementary Schools, both of which have served the community for over five decades. This development is part of Beeville ISD’s ongoing efforts to provide students with a safe, modern, and innovative learning environment.

The new facility will be designed to meet the latest safety and security standards, while offering advanced learning spaces and state of the art technology that will foster academic excellence and equip students for success. The new building will ensure a completely enclosed, secure environment, with designated learning hubs and collaborative spaces designed to enhance the educational experience.

Building a School, Shaping the Future

While the community will be saying goodbye to two long standing schools, Beeville ISD is committed to preserving the district's history. Elements from both R.A. Hall and FMC will be incorporated into the design of the new school, ensuring that the legacy of these institutions remains a part of the Beeville community.

Upon completion, the original Hall Elementary building will be demolished, while FMC will be repurposed for other educational uses.
