Dr. Dawn DuBose
Interim Superintendent of Schools

Prior to joining Beeville ISD, Dr. Dawn DuBose served as a senior executive leader as the Chief of Schools for Stafford Municipal School District and primary designee to the Superintendent. She previously held an executive-level position as Leadership Development Officer in Houston ISD, spearheading leadership development initiatives for campus and district leaders.

Dr. DuBose also championed STEM advancement as a Shell Oil Summit Mentor for the Smithsonian Science Education Center, fostering innovation and excellence in science education. Additionally, she helped to shape the next generation of educational leaders as an Adjunct Professor at Houston Christian University, delivering graduate-level instruction in educational leadership.

Dr. DuBose graduated from Prairie View A & M University (PVAMU) where she earned degrees in Elementary Education - Early Childhood Education

(B.S.), Counseling (M.A.), and Educational

Administration (Ed.D.) from Texas Southern University

(TSU). She obtained Principal and Superintendent Certifications (University of Houston-Victoria), completed the Harvard University-Evolving Leadership Institute, and the Strategic Marketing Management Cohort (Rice University).

Dr. DuBose is a passionate servant leader with nearly 35 years of continuous educational service.
