Beeville Independent School District Awarded TASB Risk Management Excellence Award
Beeville Independent School District (Beeville ISD) is proud to announce that, for its innovative solutions to risk management challenges, it has been awarded the TASB Risk Fund, receiving $5,000, and the TASB Risk Management Fund Excellence Award, a milestone award received between April 26 and 28 at the TASB Excellence Award Program in Round Rock, TX.
During the event, Beeville ISD’s Chief of Police, Art Gamez, presented at the conference, detailing the commitment and intensity of the yearly active attacker drills Beeville ISD conducts with the greater Bee County community.
Beeville was presented with this award, which highlights the excellent use of district funds to keep students and the community safer and underscores the commitment to sharing resources to help others improve their programs, thereby establishing Beeville I.S.D. as a foundation for Emergency Readiness.
“I was extremely honored to accept the TASB Excellence Award for our safety efforts.” Beeville I.S.D. Chief of Police Arturo Gamez said, “I believe that it is a collective effort between our agency, local and surrounding law enforcement agencies, local emergency responders, the board of trustees, and our administration that made this possible. This achievement reflects our commitment to serve and support Beeville ISD.”
Beeville I.S.D. thanks its board of trustees for putting faith and commitment in our Beeville ISD Police Department for the continued support in improving our students’ safety and overall daily peace of mind.
